Eve Explains What She Dislikes About Modern-Day Hip Hop

Eve was a recent guest on Comedy Central's The Daily Show and was asked by host Trevor Noah what she liked and disliked about modern-day Hip Hop.

The Philly rhymer — who just announced her pregnancy — said she likes that today's artists don't need record labels and they can reach listeners by themselves. 

Eve then broke down what she dislikes about the current rap scene.

“There’s a lot of clones. I feel like back in the day uniqueness was celebrated," she explained. "I think now there’s a lot of the sameness. And that for me, I’m just like, ‘Eh.’ It makes it boring a lot of the time for me.”
