Eminem is in the middle of a "rap beef" with Nick Cannon where Nick has released three diss records and Eminem hasn't responded yet.
While we may not get a "diss" response from Em, we are getting lyrics tweeted, which are aimed at Andre 3000.
Recently, Andre 3000 sat down with Rick Rubin's Broken Record podcast and reminisced on his and Eminem's relationship.
Andre said he used to speak to Em on the phone about the Oakland collective Hieroglyphics, and "nerd out" about hip-hop.
“Me and Eminem, we sat on the phone for about an hour talking about the Hieroglyphics crew. We were trading their lyrics on the phone like, ‘Do you remember, man?’ They sparked so much, they opened up a new door for everybody. Just to around that time and to be … we were out when Wu was out. We were out when Nas was out. But we were from the South and we had to step up.”
In response to the interview, Eminem hit Twitter and tweeted to Andre 3000, and included Souls Of Mischief's “Never No More” lyrics.
“If I had to grip my pad the riffs I'd grab would rip and stab, the kids that sad, the shit that's drab and flavorless...” you’re up, André! https://t.co/qCuHEMYJPA
