Eminem Responds To Rumor That He Was High On Ecstasy In 'My Name Is' Video

For years, there's been a rumor that Eminem was high on ecstasy in the video for his debut single "My Name Is," but he said it's all talk.

"If you look closely at my eyes during the scene where I was dressed like Bill Clinton, it may look like I was high on ecstasy during that part of the shoot. But that’s just a rumor," he wrote while giving behind-the-scenes info on the video on Vevo Footnotes.

Elsewhere in that clip, Em said that he only shot one video before "My Name Is" and had to adjust to being on a major Hollywood set.

"It was such a huge learning curve to see what a big Hollywood production looked like," he wrote.
