Draymond Green's caught-on-tape punch of Jordan Poole has his future with Golden State Warriors in jeopardy.
Green took some time off from the team after the tape leaked. He'll be back Friday, but the dustup will surely influence the team's decision on whether or not to resign the free-agent-to-be.
While Green doesn't seem to have many vocal defenders on the team, his mom, Mary Babers Green, spoke out for him, denying he "sucker punched" Poole.
"That wasn’t a Sucker punch. Dray didn’t aggressively go to Poole. His hands were down. Man to Man you go over to talk (to ask what’s up, what you say)! Got shoved and reacted.. End of story!" she tweeted.
She added that she believes the issues between Green and Poole can be fixed. But then she deleted her Twitter page.
