Drake has filed petitions suggesting he will sue Spotify, Universal, and iHeartRadio for artificially promoting Kendrick Lamar's Drake diss "Not Like Us" and will also sue UMG for defamation for allowing Kendrick to falsely accuse him of being a "certified pedophile."
His co-manager, Matte Babel, jumped on social media and used the bars from Drake's Scary Hours 3 track "Red Button" to suggest that his lawsuits would change the industry forever.
Drake's co-manager, Matte Babel, reacted to him taking legal action against UMG by posting the lyrics to "Red Button" off 'Scary Hours 3' via IG story.

"If I press this red button, dog, everybody Heaven Gated. Press this red button, dog, and everything forever changes," Drake rapped.
On the one hand, these filings from Drake seem impulsive and bitter and don't put him on the greatest light.
On the other hand, there seems to be a chance they could disrupt the industry model in a way that could benefit artists.
How do you think it's going to go?
