Kid Cudi and Drake haven't been seeing eye to eye for a while now, and today Genius reminded us of a time when the two were cool.
Cudi, who spoke to Complex in 2009, remembered a time when Drake wanted to remix his hit single "Day 'N' Night," but Cudi wasn't feeling the idea.
Drake had been wanting to do an official ‘Day ’N’ Nite’ remix early on. He was one of my earliest supporters. Imagine if I would’ve let Drake remix ‘Day ’N’ Nite’ when he wanted to back in ’07. That shit would’ve fizzled out; no one would’ve cared.
The two were still cool even after Cudi declined the remix, but had a falling out in 2016 over a bunch of drama surrounding Kanye West.
Cudi made some harsh comments on Twitter and the release of Drake’s “Two Birds, One Stone" which went after Cudi, didn't help the situation either.
