Last week Drake bet $500,000 that the Los Angeles Rams would beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI. He also bet that his good friend Odell Beckham Jr. would catch a touchdown pass and get 62.5 receiving yards.
Los Angeles beat Cincinnati 23-20, which of course is good for Drake. Plus, Beckham Jr. caught a touchdown pass in the first quarter.
Drake missed out on the 62.5 yard bet when Beckham was injured on a play that would have likely got him to 63 yards and left the game.
Still, Drake ended up having a profitable night and after the game he wrote a poem for his buddy OBJ to congratulate him on his Super Bowl victory.
“I wish I got my flowers when everything wasn’t rosey/How I’m supposed to smell em when everyone’s being nosy/Pictures of me victorious they making with Adobe make me thankful that a trophy was never what made me cozy/For now I just want to feel something/After that I wanna heal something/And after that I wanna build something/But today I just fulfilled something @ob," wrote Drake on Instagram.
