Early this morning, the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors swapped Kawhi Leonard and DeMar DeRozan (and some other things.)
It's an odd trade in that both of the players involved are extremely unhappy with the deal. Leonard says he has no desire to play up in Canada, and DeRozan feels betrayed by the franchise he's been with since the beginning and thought he would be a part of for years to come.
Raptors team ambassador Drake tried to make everyone feel better by directing an Instagram post at the two All-Stars.
The rest of the Internet wasn't so kind.
How many trades can you recall where both of primary players involved are furious with the move? Kawhi Leonard asked to go home. Not out of the country. DeMar DeRozan has never wanted to leave Toronto.

Kawhi Leonard: Dear San Antonio, I used to live there.
