Canadians The Weeknd and Drake are stepping up big with their neighbor to the South in turmoil.
They were called into action by Mustafa the Poet.
"My Toronto Kings @champagnepapi @theweeknd. Swipe up & match my donation but add 3 zeros! Let’s help reunite black families."
Drake quickly obliged by donating $100,000 to National Bail Out, which bails out protestors. The Weeknd matched that and took it a couple of steps further. Abel added $200,000 to the Black Lives Matter Global Network and another $200K to Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp.
Of course, they stunted their charity on social.
"Keep supporting our brothers and sisters out there risking everything to push for actual change for our black lives. Urging everyone with big pockets to give and give big and if you have less please give what you can even if it's a small amount. #blacklivesmatter," The Weeknd captioned his (literal) receipts.
Drake responded on IG Stories, typing "Say less brother" and showing off his 100K receipt.
