In her new track with Cardi B, egg sandwich aficionado Lizzo gets sexually aggressive with Drake.
“Readin’ sh*t on the internet,” she raps. “My smoothie cleanse and my diet / No, I ain’t f*ck Drake — yet.”
She explained why she name-dropped Drake during an interview with Zane Lowe.
“I just thought it would be so funny to say,” she said. “I have a small relationship with him. He’s very cool. I just feel like women, there’s so many times where girls’ names get dropped in songs ’cause they’re fine.
During a new interview with Niall Horan, who was subbing in for Jimmy Kimmel, Lizzo said that Drake had heard the song, and had reached out after hearing it.
“I think he’s heard the number four song in the country,” she said, “Actually, I have heard from Drake. But that’s all I’m gonna say on that.”
