Drake Skips Out On Big Money Dubai Appearance, Citing Safety

Drake had 250,000 reasons to spend his Thanksgiving holiday in Dubai.

But when it came time to make that money at the Abu Dhabi nightclub VIP Room on Saturday night, Drizzy was nowhere to be found.

"Due to Drake's overwhelming popularity, the sheer number of people that turned up outside of the VIP Room made it completely unsafe for Drake to even enter the venue in the end; so he was unable to perform," a rep for the club told the Mirror.

Instead of performing, Drake was spotted on the yacht of his good buddy Jas Prince, who was in town for F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Drake has a history of security issues in Dubai. Last year, bouncers beat down a fan who touched Drake's head during an Abu Dhabi club appearance.

As for the fans who waited until 5 AM to hear Drake this Saturday?

They were entertained by a DJ spinning Drizzy's hits.
