Last week, we learned that The Toronto Raptors will soon have a new logo and new uniforms. We also got word that Drake, the team's ambassador, had a hand in the design.
It wasn't long before the fans of the Raptors division rival Nets noticed that there were some similarities between Brooklyn's logo and the Raptors new branding.

For his part, Drake is now denying he had anything to do with the logo. “Actually this redesign was executed without me. My collaboration with (clothier) Mitchell & Ness comes out next season," he said in response to a Tweet about the new logo.
Folks in Toronto think there is more to it. They believe Drake was involved in the redesign, but is distancing himself because he didn't like how it was rolled out and also dislikes the overall color scheme.
And you probably thought being a "team ambassador" was easy.
