Drake Down With Making Music With LeBron

by HHL JT

We all know Drake is a Toronto Raptors fan. In fact, the team was fined 25 grand because the rapper -- who is an official Raptors ambassador -- improperly "recruited" Kevin Durant to come to play for the Raptors when he becomes a free agent.

But Canadian solidarity didn't prevent Drake from keeping the door open when asked if he would ever share a recording studio with Lebron James, who plays for the Raptors Eastern Conference rival Cleveland Cavaliers.

TMZ caught up with Drake after the premiere of the TV show "Survivor's Remorse," which James produces. When asked if he would ever make music with Lebron, who showed his flow earlier this year while rapping over the Jay-Z track “FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt, Drake responded “Always man, tell him to get at me."

Drake and Lebron aren't the most unlikely of collaborates, because they do share a couple things in common: They both have shoe deals with Nike, and were both pretty famous by the time they were 16, albeit in separate nations.

Things could get a bit awkward if the Cavs and Raptors met in the playoffs, though. (And we just might peg them as the two best teams in the East.) But that could also led to some pretty fierce verses. And maybe a reference to the aggressive burgundy turtle neck King James was wearing at his premiere.
