We are now getting our musical information from Kentucky men's basketball coach John Calipari.
Coach Cal just had Wildcats super fan Drake on the latest episode of his podcast.
During the chat, Drake provided some more details from his mysterious upcoming More Life "playlist."
He told the coach that it's a project he's doing between albums for Apple.
"To keep people excited, give them new music, let them know I’m still hungry," Drake explained. "I’m doing it to be remembered as a forward thinker. I want to be remembered… as an emotion-evoking artist,"Earlier this month, here's how OVO producer Nineteen85 described More Life.
“More Life is interesting because this is [Drake] right on the peak of his biggest project yet [with Views], doing his biggest tour and still having so many good ideas that he just wants to put out without making it a big ordeal,” he said. “That’s why he’s trying to call it a playlist because he has a bunch of people in a space, hanging out…. He’s so aware of what everybody else is doing musically that he likes to introduce new music and new artists to the rest of the world.”The "playlist" should be coming very soon. After that, Drake wants to get back to his acting roots.
"Acting is another thing that I just can’t wait to really dive into," he told Coach Cal. "I think after I release More Life, which is this playlist I’m working on and finish this tour, I think I’m going to really start to position myself in the acting world and, hopefully, take some great roles."
