Drake, 6ix9ine & Joe Budden May Be Called To Testify In XXXTentacion Murder Trial

Dedrick Williams is accused of being the getaway driver in the murder of XXXTentacion.

His trial is set to begin on January 9th.

His lawyer Mauricio Padilla has listed Drake, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Joe Budden, Quavo, Offset, and Ski Mask the Slump God as defense witnesses.  Takeoff was also listed but his name has been removed in the wake of his own murder.

Drake had been beefing with XXX shortly before his death and there have been some wild conspiracy theories that have tied Drizzy to the murder, which prosecutors say was just a robbery.

It's unclear if the judge will allow Padilla to have the boldface names testify as he may rule they have no relevance to the case.

Even if he does, Padilla admits he's having trouble tracking down the rappers.

“They are high-profile people, and it’s not easy for me to subpoena. I don’t have numbers but it doesn’t mean I won’t be able to,” he said. “Trying to subpoena Drake is not easy — you need a drone.”
