Dr. Dre's Divorce Officially Over After He Agrees To Large Payout To Nicole Young

Dr. Dre's long and contentious divorce from his ex-wife Nicole Young is officially in the books.

And it only cost $100 million.

The settle the divorce, Dre agreed to pay Nicole $50 million now and $50 million a year for now.

Dre would have had to pay half of his $820 million fortune under California state law if he didn't have some protection under a contested prenup.

The court upheld enough of that agreement for Dre to keep all of the seven properties they owned -- including a $100 million Brentwood estate.  He also keeps all of his master recordings, trademarks, and Apple stock.
