DMX Gets Emotional While Talking About His Multiple Personalities

It looks like DMX is doing pretty good these days. 

He looks healthy, he's been able to stay out of legal trouble lately and he's been working on his new album. The Yonkers, N.Y. native has definitely overcome some tough times in his life, which started in his early childhood. 

While tearing up, X said that having multiple personalities helped him cope throughout the years, although he doesn't like to talk about it much. [Jump to 2:39 mark]

"[There's] a few people in me and they get me through life," he said on BET's Ruff Ryders Chronicles. "I don't talk about them ... They're there to get me through life ...  I don't know if I made them or if God gave them to me, or maybe circumstances and situations did."
