So the man wants to rhyme over some different kind of beats. What's wrong with that? According to the folks on Twitter, a lot.
A couple of days ago, DMX sent out a tweet that has since been deleted.
"Looking for trap beats. Email iamelbarrio@gmail.com," he wrote.
Right after, Twitter went nuts and said rhyming over trap beats would change the New York rapper's brand, maybe even ruin his career. Do you agree?
@DMX the fuck since when you make trap

@DMX NO!! PLEASE DO NOT PUT TRAP $H!T ON YOUR ALBUM. That shhh is garbage & YOU ARE A REAL RAPPER! Please don't put your career on life support

Furthermore, would you mind seeing DMX spit over a trap beat or would you rather him stick with the gritty East Coast kinds of tracks? You can see the Twitter reactions above and below.
@DMX why the fuck would you want trap beats. Man, "Do You"

@glenn_beauty187 @DMX Sooooo Nas has no talent because he rap over a trap beat.. so did Andre 3000, Jadakiss, etc. Real lyricist can rap over any beat. Wise Up✔️
