Mo'Nique and D. L. Hughley have been beefing for a little over a week now.
It all has to do with a show in Detroit called The Comedy Explosion and who was supposed to headline.
First, Mo'Nique called D.L. a "bitch," which he responded to. She then brought his daughter, who had also called Mo out, into the mix.
"I find it funny that DL will call out ICE CUBE, KANYE, RIZZA ISLAM, ANGELA STANTON, MYSELF ETC., but he won’t call out the name of the person that violated his daughter," wrote the Precious star.
Hughley's eldest daughter, Ryan Nicole Shepard, was a victim of a sexual assault at the hands of a family friend.
D.L. shot back soon after.
"The final straw and the last breath I’ll waste on a monster so HEINOUS, they would try to open a wound and weaponize a young woman’s past personal trauma," he wrote. "That young woman happens to be my daughter and it ends today."
D.L. ripped Mo'Nique in a video as well after saying she wanted to come on his show.
"You will never come on my show, never," he stated. "You will never talk to my children. I will never have anything to do with you. You do not exist."
Why do you think Mo'Nique isn't getting a lot of public backlash for bringing up D.L.'s daughter and her past trauma?
