DJ Stephen tWitch Boss, who got famous manning the turntables on Ellen Degeneres' talk show, is gone at age 40.
He was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gun wound yesterday in a Los Angeles hotel room.
Shortly before his body was discovered, tWitch's wife Allison Hooker ran to a Los Angeles police station and expressed concern because her husband had left the house without his car, which he had never done before.
Boss began DJing Ellen's show and 2014 and remained until it ended this year.
He started a career as a dancer and appeared in the Step Up movie franchise.
He had three young children with Hooker.
RIP.
