DJ Envy Admits To Blackballing Nicki Minaj

In the freestyle she dropped this weekend, Nicki Minaj made a reference to getting blackballed by radio.

It turns out she's not lying.

On The Breakfast Club today, DJ Envy admitted he stopped playing Nicki's records because she threatened his Power 105.1 colleague DJ Self.

"I thought I was the only that wasn't playing her record," Envy said of Nicki's freestyle bars.

During her high profile breakdown this summer, Nicki had said she was going to sic  "hungry n****s" on Self.  She was angry because she claimed Self had rated Cardi B's album better than hers just because Nicki wouldn't give him a "hug".

Envy objected to that threat and stopped playing Nicki for a while. But this morning he said that he started playing her again when she worked out her issues with Self.
