There's been chatter that Drake's much-delayed album Certified Lover Boy drops tonight.
According to DJ Akademiks, who would know better than a random person off the street, that's not going to happen.
He jumped one of his many platforms late last night to explain Drake's real timeframe.
"CLB update. I've seen some people say, 'oh, it was supposed to drop tonight', as in Thursday night. No, it's not dropping then. Drake told me that it's going to be dropping before April so he's not waiting until summer to drop his sh*t. I don't wanna say before April. -- April or before. But the reason why I'm saying it's not dropping tonight, as in Thursday night, is because he's spent so much time on this project that he's not trying to put out a surprise project. He's gonna let people know at least a week before," Ak claimed.
Drake had previously pushed the album back because of knee surgery, which sounds a bit dubious as limited mobility should lead to more studio time, not less.
Do you think Drake's become worried CLB won't live up to his own sky-high sales standards?
