DJ Akademiks announced today he is leaving Complex, and that Everyday Struggle is being canceled.
This summer, Ak was briefly suspended from Everyday Struggle for comments he made about Chrissy Teigen on Twitch, calling her a "bitch" and a "hoe" and telling her to "suck a dick."
It looks like the relationship between Ak and the media company never recovered and now it's over -- with the show he and Joe Budden founded collateral damage.
According to Ak, he's known about the permanent split-- which he calls a mutual decision -- for about a month but just announced it today. He thanked Complex for the opportunity, but also criticized them for the way they handled his beef with Freddie Gibbs, saying he didn't feel like they had his back.
Everyday Struggle's last air date will be in the middle of December.
