DJ Akademiks wondered why rappers threaten him but never follow up.
Ever since he began covering the drill music scene, Ak has rubbed many artists the wrong way by reporting certain stories, relaying gossip or speaking about things that ticked a lot of people off.
Some of the rappers who've gotten at Ak include Vic Mensa, Casanova, Tadoe and Nipsey Hussle.
"At some point, we gotta start calling these niggas out for making threats and nothing happening," said Ak.. "There's been mad rappers who said they're going to smack me. They've been saying it for years .... When are you gonna actually going to live up to the s*** you said you was going to do? A rapper who gets on Live and tells you he's going to do something he's most likely cappin. It's like literally going to the police station and telling the police 'I'm about to smack a n****.'"
