Yung Bans became the latest rapper to suggest DJ Akademiks is the police and more specifically he snitched on YNW Melly.

That charge got Ak's Twitter Fingers blazing. The media personality claimed that not so long Bans was begging to get on with him and explain why he felt the need to apologize to Russ, who had called him out for being disrespectful to him.
Ak also "exposed" one-sided DM conversations in which Bans tried to get Ak to promo him, and Akademiks ignored him.
