DJ Akademiks Explains How Quavo's Words May have Triggered Takeoff's Death

DJ Akademiks has analyzed all the tapes from the Takeoff murder and has come to some conclusions.

He shared them with DJ Vlad.

"It appears that there is an argument with Quavo and another individual -- we don't know who that is yet.  Some people say that it might be J. Prince Jr.  I can't say that.  We don't see that person.  There's another guy, he seems to be the person who's trying to calm it down.  He says a few key things -- you can make up your mind over who he is arguing with -- he says 'This is family now, you gotta chill.'  

At that point, a man with Quavo -- possibly security -- brandishes a gun.  Then Quavo begins to leave.  However, Qua says something first that Ak believes triggered the gunfight that killed Takeoff and wounded two others.

"But I'm going to be honest, he says something that I think could have triggered this whole thing.  Not necessarily like it's his own fault.  He says 'Let me got on out of here before I hurt somebody.'  What people don't like to admit about n*ggas from the street is [they are] emotionally immature.  One diss, that's a shoot out.  Say something they perceive as a threat and they have to go super alpha ... I think when Quavo says that it sets in motion [what happened.]"

Ak also said the police know who fired the shot that killed Takeoff and are just getting their ducks in order before making an arrest.
