New information has been revealed on that disturbing video of Diddy beating Cassie at the InterContinental Hotel in 2016.

One, Diddy's lawyer Marc Agnifilo said the Bad Boy founder has a history of drug addiction, which influenced his violent behavior. Two, some of the text messages that he sent to Cassie after assaulting her were revealed.

AUSA: Immediately after the assault, the defendant sent these messages: Call me, the cops are here. I got six kids. Yo, please call, I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone.

"Call me, the cops are here," Diddy wrote to his ex. "I got six kids. Yo, please call. I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone?"

AUSA: Here are some text: when you get f*cked up, you knock me around. I'm not a rag doll. I'm someone's child.
We have witnesses who witnessed the injuries. This conduct happened behind closed door, in houses, hotel rooms and cars. Judge Tarnofsky was concerned

"When you get f*cked up, you knock me around," Cassie wrote back. "I'm not a rag doll. I'm someone's child."

In the first bond hearing, Agnifilo said that Diddy assaulted Cassie because she hit him with a cell phone after learning he was cheating on her.

But prosecutors denied that claim and said Cassie was running away after Diddy tried to force her to sleep with a male sex worker.
