Diddy is hosting and producing the Billboard Music Awards, which gives him some say on who will perform.
Travis Scott is one of the artists who will hit the stage and the Bad Boy boss made it happen.
The show will be Scott's first TV performance since 10 people were killed at his Astroworld Festival last year.
"For the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, I made a request, I made a demand," said Diddy on Instagram. "I said, ‘My brother Travis Scott has to perform. Diddy’s hosting the show. I’m executive producing, he has to perform.’ And NBC said, ‘Yes.’ So, it’s going down. Sunday, Travis Scott will be performing. Yes, let’s go. Now that’s love.”
Diddy may be sympathetic to Scott because of his own history. 1991, Puff promoted an AIDS fundraiser at the City College of New York (CCNY) gymnasium. The event was oversold, a stampede occurred, and nine people died.
