Diddy Placed On Suicide Watch

After Diddy was indicted on sex trafficking charges this week, his lawyer Marc Agnifilo said he's still staying strong.

But a source from People said Diddy is on suicide watch at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center where he's being held.

The move was made as a preventative measure and seems to be just protocol.

Either way, the conditions at MDC have been called deplorable and not fit for pretrial detention, so Agnifilo asked a judge to have Diddy transferred to a prison in New Jersey's Essex County.

"Just earlier this summer, an inmate was murdered," wrote Diddy's legal team in their motion to have the 54-year-old released on bond. "At least four inmates have died by suicide there in the past three years."

Diddy has been denied bond twice, so Agnifilo says he'll try to start the trial soon.

The lawyer also spoke to TMZ about the suicide report and said Diddy is "strong, healthy, confident and focused on his defense."
