Diddy's federal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering is set to begin on May 5, 2025
The 54-year-old has already pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
Combs appeared before Judge Arun Subramanian in Manhattan federal court today. During the proceedings, assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson explained that 96 electronic devices had been seized from the Diddler's homes in Miami and Los Angeles and an unspecified private airport in Florida when they opened their investigation. Four more devices were seized when Combs was arrested last month.
According to the Feds, just eight of the devices seized in Miami contained over 90 terabytes of "extraordinary information" that took a long time to extract, delaying their investigation.
These types of trials typically get delayed, so May 5 is far from set in stone.
