Earlier this month, Soulja Boy jumped on Twitter and claimed he just "confirmed a $400 million" deal.
Yesterday, both Soulja Boy and Greek billionaire Alki David dropped Instagram posts suggesting Soulja Boy had signed with David's FilmOn label.
Is this the $400,000,000 deal Soulja was bragging about?
That seems doubtful.
David's biggest foray into Hip Hop has been signing Chief Keef to FilmOn, and here's what we know about that deal:
1. It required Keef to name one of his many children after FilmOn. 2. It netted Keef at least a BMW i8. 3. David eventually had the Beemer repossessed from Keef.
Surely there's more to Keef's contract with FilmOn. But judging from those details, David doesn't seem like the type to give Soulja Boy 400,000,000 in anything like actual dollars.
