Dez Bryant and ESPN personality Jemele Hill had a spat on Twitter this week over the Dallas Cowboy refusing to stick up for Colin Kaepernick. It happened after Bryant gave a waitress at Blaze Pizza a $75 tip. After the waitress playfully suggested she still hated the Cowboys in a deleted Tweet, Bryant playfully struck back.
I won't be having blaze pizza at that location again lmao https://t.co/igsjiBUk9J

From there, Hill chimed in and seemed to bring up Kaepernick, who's seemingly been black balled by the NFL for kneeling during the National Anthem before games last season.
But won't take a stand against ... nevermind .. https://t.co/KvL8RDLWJ5

Eventually, Dez responded.

Then Hill shot back.
I know you were joking. As was I. Truth in every joke, as you know. https://t.co/BbEHpP3ZI0

My official position (as I said on the show): Dez is free to not speak out or protest, but don't undermine those that do. https://t.co/guoKj4unAm

All of this comes a couple of weeks after Dez said he wasn't interested in commenting on the Kaepernick situation, because he didn't want to lose his job.
What do you think about all of this? Was it right for Hill to call Dez out?
