T.I. sparked a bunch of controversy after saying that he took his then 18-year-old daughter Deyjah Harris to the doctor to check her hymen. The move was to ensure that she was still a virgin.
Tip later apologized for talking about Deyjah's personal business but not before he was ripped to shreds on social media.
Zonnique Pullins, who's Tip's stepdaughter through his wife Tiny, recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about his relationship with Deyjah since hymen-gate.
“Their relationship has gotten better and they’ve both grown," said Pullins. "He’s not overbearing in certain situations. He’s changed when it comes to Deyjah. Their relationship is in a really good place, actually. It took a minute for them to get to this place, but I feel like they’re just doing really good.”
“He’s definitely just been learning with the girls on how to handle certain things and how to go about certain things when it comes to us," she added. "I feel like it’s a lot of stuff he didn’t realize when it comes to a young girl’s feelings."
