Now-Boston Celtics' guard Dennis Schroder has been the joke of the NBA offseason after turning down the Lakers 4-year-$84 million midseason deal, and ending up with only Boston's $5.9 million mid-level exemption.
To make matters worse, the German's poor playoffs suggest he's never going to get another payday like the one the Lakers dangled him before he let them down.
The good news is the 27-year old's wife Ellen is still riding with him after his $78 million blunder.
“I’m so proud of my husband that he made this decision to stay true to himself and to fight for his goals and is vision! I know not everyone understand(s) this… they would choose money before anything else… but let me tell you: show some love, be patient and watch what will happen next,” she typed on IG Story.
