The sad saga of Delonte West has taken another sad turn.
The former eight-year NBA player, who has a history of substance abuse and mental illness, was arrested last night in Palm Beach County, Fla after running up on the police station in Boyton Beach and pounding on its glass door.
West was cussing during the attack on the structure while holding vodka and beer.
When the cops came out, West began to walk away. At first, he complied with their commands to drop his drinks. However, he eventually put his hands in his pants, causing one officer to unhinge his taser.
The cops say he "continued to be belligerent" when they put him in the squad car
He was charged with obstruction/resisting without violence, open container, and disorderly intoxication. He made bail this morning. He's due in court gain next month.
