The Tupac biopic All Eyez on Me was supposed to drop in September.
Now TMZ reports it's been pushed back to at least November.
Why?
Rapper Daz Dillinger and publishing house BMG both claim rights to the track 'Ambitionz Az a Ridah', which is featured prominently in the film. Until they resolve their conflict, the song (and the movie) can't be green lit, according to the gossip rag.
Dillinger has a history of fiercely protecting his publishing rights. He's gone after Grand Theft Auto for using his music without his permission, and is involved in legal wranglings over another proposed rap biopic Dogg Pound 4 Life.
However, Dillinger got on Instagram and denied he was holding up All Eyez On Me, dismissing the "TMZ shit."
