Dave Chappelle Speaks Out On George Floyd's Death In Netflix Special

Dave Chappelle hadn't performed on stage in 87 days, but that all changed yesterday when he released his surprise Netflix special, 8:46

The title of the special, which is the amount of time officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on George Floyd's neck, covers the horrendous murder and allows Chappelle to speak his mind.

Armed with a cigarette in hand, Chappelle reveals he was born at 8:46, which makes the timing that much more personal.

He also spoke out against Don Lemon, Candance Owens, and FOX News host Laura Ingraham, who told Lebron James to "shut up and dribble."

Lastly, he admitted that he didn't attend the Grammy's because it was the same day that Kobe Bryant was killed, and Kobe's numbers were 8 and 24, which is his birthday, August 24th.
