After breaking OKC's heart with a 37-foot buzzer beater to propel his Trailblazers to a first-round playoff win, Damian Lillard shaded outspoken Thunder guard Russell Westbrook with an Art Of War quote.
Later, he had words for Paul George, who was covering him on his three-point dagger and had labeled Dame's game-winning shot a "bad" one.
"For him to say that’s a bad shot, that’s just kind of being a poor sport," Lillard said. "If anything, it was bad defense, because I had the ball in my hands with two seconds, and I wasn’t going to drive, so maybe he should’ve just bodied up."
A shot from that far out when you have plenty of time on the shot clock and only needed a two to win is an unusual choice.
But the result speaks for itself. Is Dame right about George's defense?
