Dame Dash Mocks JAY-Z's Pockets Over Roc-A-Fella Auction

by HHL JT

Dame Dash's 1/3 share in Roc-A-Fella is set to be auctioned off beginning August 29th so Dame can pay a judgment to a film producer he owes about 800K.

The starting bid for the share is $1.2 million.  Roc's biggest asset is Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt album.

Hov and Kareem "Biggs" Burke had objected to the forced sale, arguing it would violate Roc's bylaws.  But a judge ruled that the sale could go on.

At first, it was stated JAY and Biggs wouldn't have any particular advantage in the bidding.

However, as the auction approaches the two men were given the right of first refusal.

“They had some bum-ass board meeting and all of a sudden he gets first right of refusal. I don’t really care. It don’t slow nothing down for me,' Dame said of Hov.  "Now I don’t know how deep homie’s pockets is. I’m curious if he’s gonna match that. I put an offer on the table, lemme see if he’ll match it. But it was from other people.”

Hov's net worth is listed at $2.5 billion.
