DaBaby Detained By Police and Says He Was Targeted

DaBaby was detained for possession of marijuana on Monday in Charlotte, N.C. after his show at the Bojangles Arena. 

He was first booked on weed possession and for carrying a concealed weapon. But the gun charge was dropped and the weed charge remained. DaBaby, who filmed some of his arrest, was also hit with the charge of resisting an officer.

After the "Suge" rapper was released from custody, he spoke to NBC Charlotte and said he was profiled. 

"Every time. There's nobody when I pull up in the parking lot, the second I get out the car, 15 cops come around," he said.

DaBaby wrote a message on IG Story about the incident as well.

"Dirty ass police department try to take me to jail every time I got a show in the city," he wrote on IG Story.
