D.R.A.M. stopped by Snoop Dogg's GGN Show and talked about a slew of topics, including Beyoncé liking his music and the first time he heard thousands of people sing his song at a concert.
But the most memorable story of the chat is when the Virginia singer discussed taking mushrooms right before going on stage.
"I did a show in Montreal like a few weeks ago," D.R.A.M. explained. "This sketch ass dude on the street said, 'Man, I got whatever you need ... He said Mushrooms ... He gave me seven grams of mushrooms for forty of their dollars ... Then it gets to like one minute before I get on stage. I don't know what made me do it, but I went in there, and I took out like two and a half grams and shoved them in my mouth. Chewed them up and ate them shits."Then the "Broccoli" crooner said the effects started kicking in soon after.
"I had a fuckin' 45-minute set," he stated. "By the end of the second song shit was like ... I was like, 'Oh shit, I'm really feeling these shits ... The whole time I just kept singing and singing ... All I wanted to do was just sing, because they was loving my shit, because they new my words and shit."Snoop also talked about taking shrooms in Amsterdam when he opened for Run-DMC back in the day. They made him cry, because he was playing with his all-time favorite group.
