CyHi The Prynce was attacked by gunmen and run off an Atlanta highway on Valentine's Day.
He discussed the assassination attempt with TMZ.
“I was on the highway, and I thought they were trying to race me,” CyHi said. “You know, I guess when you’re in a fast car, people will pull up next to you. So I tried to just get to the next lane, they come over to the next lane. Tried to speed up a little bit and get out their way, they speed up and get next to me again. I tried to do a couple little maneuvers between cars to see if they were really following me or just wanted to race and then I realized they were following me so I tried to speed up and slam on the breaks so they could go past me. They actually smashed on their breaks on the highway, so we almost had a pile up ... So I tried to get to the right shoulder, and I put my car in reverse and started reversing back up the highway, and they made a U-turn on the highway and started driving towards me, so I’m like, ‘okay, this is serious.’ Then I just hit 140, 150 but it was wet so I couldn't do much without wrecking anything. So while I was getting off at the exit, that's when the gunfire starts ... I felt like if it was a car robbery and wreck it, they wouldn't want the car no more."
CyHi escaped uninjured. The car, a Bentley Kanye West bought him, was another story.
