Crunchy Black left Three 6 Mafia in 2006.
In a new interview, Crunchy explained -- for the first time, he claims -- exactly why he left the group, who were at the height of their Oscar-winning success.
"There was a lot of foul sh*t going. [DJ] Paul and Juicy [J] was business people of the label I was on. They would go to hotel rooms when we was flying from LA to New York a lot [and stay at] five-star hotels. And they would make me put my incidentals in and all kinds of snake sh*t they was doing at the time. And I couldn't figure out why they was doing me like that. You going pay for everyone else when you not going to pay for me? So there was a lot of sh*t going on that made me feel some type of way.
"Don't change up on me," he continued. "I always tell the hoes that I'm f*cking with now. The way you got me is the way you gonna have to keep me ... if you're not looking out for me like I'm looking out for you I'm gonna just have to switch."
Black went on to admit some of his gripes with Paul and J may have been in his head, but that he's always one to follow what his mind says.
In 2013, the 42-year old reunited with Paul, Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca and Gangsta Boo in Da Mafia 6ix.
