Is Joe Budden about to make his comeback to rap?
In a new interview with Choke No Joke, Crooked I, a.k.a. KXNG Crooked revealed some surprising information, and it could bring Budden out of retirement.
Towards the end of the interview, Crooked discussed Slaughterhouse, and the efforts the group are making to convince Budden to return to rap.
"We are contractually still signed to Shady but Joe and Em had a beef for a second. Not like real beef, like words back and forth. So Shady is not going to move, in my opinion, on anything that has Joe Budden’s voice on and Joe ain’t going to put his voice on nothing that got a Shady logo on.
We are trying to get him out of retirement right now. I think he got one foot out of it. He’s almost there. We’re gonna get him out of retirement and have the original squad rock out. If I had say-so my vote would be for him and Eminem to sit down ‘cause I‘ve got love for both of them and I feel like I’m in the middle of that sometimes but I wish they sat down together and if I could help facilitate that, that would be great. Whether we do it on Shady or not I still think they need to sit down and talk like men. I mean, they don’t get to be friends they go their separate ways, that’s fine. And then I’ll feel more comfortable moving forward with Slaughterhouse."
If Budden doesn't return to rap, we still have his "wardrobe" Instagram page to keep us entertained.
