Meek Mill played host to a BET Awards pre-party at Playhouse Hollywood yesterday night.
Last year, there was a stabbing at Mill's BET pre-party, and there were multiple acts of violence during the award show's weekend.
So this year the LAPD are taking no chances. They flooded the ground around the Playhouse with cops, and stuck a bunch of choppers in the sky above.
There were no incidents of violence, perhaps because of the heightened police presence.
However, the extra security wasn't good for YG. Witnesses say the LA resident was rejected from the party after refusing a pat down. (We can't say we blame him for carrying a piece, if that's what it was.)
