More than two years after Chinx was killed in a drive-by shooting in his hometown of Queens, police have made an arrest.
32-year-old Quincy Homere was taken in this morning and has been charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in relation to the shooting.
There is no information on a motive, although we'll probably get that soon.
Chinx was killed On May 17, 2015 in Briarwood, Queens at around 4:00 a.m. Police found Chinx and another victim in a car at Queens Boulevard and 84th Drive. The Coke Boy was transported to Jamaica Medical Center in Queens with gunshot wounds to his torso, where he was pronounced dead, at age 31. The other victim survived his wounds.

Update: Another suspect, 26-year-old Jamar Hill, has been arrested for the murder. Both he and Homere were serving time in jail on unrelated charges and will be facing 25-to-life on the new Chinx-related charges.
