Chief Keef hasn't been played on BET in a couple years, and there have long been hints of a Sosa ban on the Viacom owned station.
Last week, former Former 106 & Park host Bow Wow confirmed the ban.
"BET banned Sosa. I was fighting to get sosa on 106; it was a no go from the uppers. They really blackballed him from mainstream it’s crazy,” he wrote on IG.
Shad my homie He can speak on what ever he please i ain't tripping maybe I was but then I'm the one said fuck BET https://t.co/6EE9Jc5vEp Music Choice is Fine with me I don't like black people anyway

As for why he was banned?
Back in 2014, Sosa had suggested he was blacklisted from the network because he didn't show up for a 106 & Park appearance. Earlier Tweets from Sosa suggest he was still pissed at BET for not inviting him to the 2013 BET awards when he skipped out.
Three years later, does a BET ban even matter?
