Aspiring rapper Damond Dawson was shot and killed early this morning while shooting a music video for the track 'Two Techs and a 50 Shot.'

He was among a group recording a party scene in a South Side of Chicago park at 2 AM when two unknown suspects opened fire.

Local rapper Foreign Lyfe said the gunmen approached from behind the camera.

"I heard my homie say that he had seen somebody pulling up or whatever. We turned around and look back again, quick as we looked back, started shooting. Shots coming from everywhere," he said.
Dawson, a 23-year old who went by the name of "Thugga", was hit in the back of the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were hospitalized with bullet wounds, with a 19-year old woman listed in critical condition.

Police say cameras were rolling during the shooting and they are analyzing all the video. So far there have been no arrests, but the authorities suspect the incident was gang related.

RIP, Damond Dawson.
