It turns out few were really waiting for Jay Electronica's long-awaited debut.
According to Hits Daily Double, A Written Testimony will only do 25-28K SPS first week, with 7-10K traditional sales. That's despite JAY Z being on almost all of the album's tracks. (Perhaps this is why Hov didn't want his name the project.)
A Written Testimony will struggle to break the top 20 in its first week. No such trouble for Travis Scott's artist Don Toliver whose debut album Heaven or Hell is headed for 42-47k, 2-4k.
By far the biggest winner of the week will be Lil Uzi Vert. By adding 14 tracks to Eternal Atake, Vert will top the chart for the second straight week with 230,000-255,00K SPS, 4-6K traditional. That's in addition to the 311K Vert's sophomore album debuted with last week.
Are you surprised by any of these numbers?
