by HHL Editors

JAY-Z's 4:44 album went platinum in just three days.

But it was a Tidal exclusive for its first week and those numbers including Sprint buying a ton of downloads and giving them away for free.

4:44 got its wide-release yesterday, and Hits Daily Double is projecting it moves between 250k - 275K SPS with 150K -175K of those being traditional album sales.

JAY-Z's last album Magna Carta… Holy Grail moved 528K in its first wide release week, which also came after a large company (Samsung back then) had bought Hov's way to platinum the week before.

In other chart news, 21 Savage's debut album ISSA is projected to move 50-60k SPS in its opening week with 10-15k of those being traditional sales.
